Bridgepoint

In 1987 he went on a two year secondment to a US venture capital firm based in San Francisco, before returning to London. He led Bridgepoint's UK business until 2001 and then its German business until 2006. Alastair now focuses on Bridgepoint's business development and cross-border investments. He currently sits on the board of TüvTurk, a provider of vehicle inspections in Turkey and UK headquartered LGC, the leader in chemical and biological analytical services and reference materials.  He is a graduate of University College, Cardiff and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand.
